If you’re unfamiliar with toilet mechanisms, you may want to read about them further if you’re unsure of how to proceed.

Otherwise, you’ll want to flush your toilet, and as it begins to fill back up, place your displacement container so that it sits at the bottom of the tank away from any of your toilet’s valves or mechanisms. This will be on the opposite side of where the toilet’s flush handle is.

Watch the water fill back up much faster since your displacer is now in place.
