Mountaintop Removal: As Bad As It Sounds

We've already laid waste to much of our oceans, our land and our air to satisfy our addiction to fossil fuels. What's left to destroy? Why, our mountains, of course.

Mountaintop removal blasts away at the tops of mountains to get at the coal underneath, which is then burned, creating more air pollution and contributing to climate change. In the process, it's destroying rivers, forests and communities throughout the Appalachians.

When will it end?
