I have a Prius – but you don’t need a Prius to do this. Any car would do that has a cigarette lighter or auxiliary outlet. I have run an inverter from my RAV4 many times to power small devices. The Prius probably has a more efficient engine but you don’t think much about that when you don’t have any power.
