Yes, according to the results of a 10-year study of Cabo Pulmo National Park, a marine sanctuary located near the southern tip of Baja California in Mexico. The study revealed that total amount of fish in the reserve boomed more than 460 percent from 1999 to 2009 after the sanctuary was created in 1995.
