It’s true what they say, I guess. Living the green life is an easy thing to do when you’ve got the money.

Ok, maybe that’s not entirely accurate, but having money makes it a whole lot easier to get hold of the newest green products on the market.

Don’t know what I’m talking about? Just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, number one on the eco-friendly actors list, how he likes his new $3200 Toto toilet.

Not only does his new eco-friendly throne use just 1.6 gallons per flush, it also comes fully equipped with a seat warmer, automatic flusher and remote control. Oh. And the seat automatically flips up when approached. Who knew you needed all those bells and whistles to go green?

Leo probably could have gone a little greener if he’d opted for Toto’s dual flush system (which uses 1.6 gpf and 0.9 gpf alternately) or, even better, a compost toilet. I’m pretty sure those would have cost a little less too, Leo.
