Get Started Recycling - Aluminum
Tuesday March 31, 2009
Most people know that recycling is a good thing, but that doesn't mean they know how to recycle.
You can recycle everything from paper to plastics to metals, but aluminum is one of the easiest, most cost-effective and most widely accepted recyclables there is. Even so, many people believe that recycling is just too much work.
Well, we've got news for you. Recycling programs may differ from city to city (and state to state), but you can have your local program figured out in just 15 minutes if you know what to do. Luckily we've put together a quick and painless how-to guide on recycling aluminum.
Of course the more you recycle the better, but you've got to start somewhere, right?

Tuesday March 24, 2009
Easter is right around the corner, and you know what that means. Bunnies and eggs galore!
But whether you're buying eggs for an upcoming holiday or just for breakfast, you should know exactly what you're buying. Size can have a bigger effect on nutrition than you might expect, and Grade can make or break a dish.
As for social responsibility, do you know what kind of farm your eggs came from? The eggs themselves may not suffer, but that doesn't mean the hens that laid them didn't. Certain labels found on egg cartons mean a lot while others mean little to nothing at all. Can you tell the difference?
Find out how green your eggs are:

Our planet's condition is inspiration for a lot of things - recycling, activism, improved living standards to name a few. But a new artist hitting the music scene insists that the environment is her inspiration for what she calls 'eco-tainment.'
So who is she? Her name is AlyssA Anjelica James, and just like she believes in bio-diversity, she also believes in diversifying her sound. Her music spans pop, folk, jazz and soul styles and is combined with eco-conscious lyrics to result in a truly unique sound.
Ready to check it out? You can see what you think about this new eco-genre by visiting AlyssA's MySpace page or Official Website. Or you can visit AlyssA's blog to see what she's been up to since the release of her album - she updates pretty often.
